yum upgrade fails- hpijs

Thanks. What about all the downloads I just made, is there anyway to
pick up the install from where I left off while excluding hpijs? And
can I use "yum --exclude=hpijs upgrade" instead of  "yum
--exclude=hpijs update" ?
