In 'Monitor' section...it seems to be ignored.

# grep Panning /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(**) intel(0): Option "Panning" "1280x1024"
(WW) intel(0): Option "Panning" is not used

In 'Display' subsection of 'Screen' instead, likewise

# grep Panning /var/log/Xorg.0.log
(WW) intel(0): Option "Panning" is not used

It may not be compatible with one of the modules that I asserted but
X.org.0.log doesn't suggest that to be the problem.
