FC11 , Deleting Dragon-Player

You answered your own question. If it's part of another package, then no
(assuming you mean "remove without breaking stuff or having it
automatically reinstalled when I do an update").

Sounds like you don't have the right codecs. Dragon uses the Xine
backend I think.
