How many people need to use the proprietary nvidia driver ? (Or other non kms driver ?)

Yes.  Just getting F12 going after many adventures.  nouveau was total
disaster, nv limps.  Five systems with three generations of NVIDIA cards.

Just getting the NVIDIA drivers installed so no experience to date.
