In case it really looks for uuid/uuid.h because it uses this file
via "#include <uuid/uuid.h>" you cannot get it to accept /usr/include/uuid.h
There's only a work-around: create a symlink from /usr/include/uuid/uuid.h
to /usr/include/uuid.h

Look at "configure --help". It might be possible to give it a path
where to search for some components.
The configure script probably executes "uuid-config --cflags" to retrieve
the search path, but that doesn't tell the program whether to use
#include <uuid.h> or #include <uuid/uuid.h>.
Also verify the uuid packaging as whether /usr/include/uuid.h is the
default install location for this header file.
In case it is, you may want to inform the developer of the game you're
trying to compile to support searching for /usr/include/uuid.h
In case it isn't, the uuid package may need an update.
