Time to upgrade FC8->FC10

And I'm sitting here almost laughing if it wasn't so sad.  I installed it and 
ran it, and the first thing I ran into was that when I installed F8, it would 
not allow me to setup a /boot partition of more than 199 megabytes.  I made 
several attempts to get around that because I've always made it at least 500 
megabytes before.  Couldn't, so I just left it at 199 megs and put everything 
else on / thinking that at the end of the day it was no big deal.

So I run this preupgrade thing.  Whats the first thing it runs into that is a 
showstopper?  Right, that 199 meg /boot partition, cuz it wants to download 
the install image to there, and doesn't appear to allow that location to be 
adjusted to someplace else with 400GB of spare storage.

I come to the list to ask and every one said just reboot, and it will pull it 
then.  So I did eventually reboot, driven to it by yet another x crash 
related to the crappy radeonhd driver.

But the reboot was normal, no sign of anything this preupgrade thing may have 
done can be found.  I also asked how big this install.img was and was 
ignored.

The bottom line is that if you (fedora people at redhat) want us to use it so 
we can continue to be your lab test rats, you do not purposely 
miss-understand the question asked in plain english, and instead choose to 
answer some question I didn't ask.

So, I'll ask it again:  Preupgrade wants to download the install image to 
the /boot partition.  Unforch the F8 installer refuses to allow a /boot 
partition of over 199 megs, and we all know that image has to be bigger than 
that.  So the question remains: How do I tell preupgrade to use /tmp, or 
even / as a scratchpad location for this install image download?

If that can't be done, then I just installed another terrabyte drive and I am 
copying all the backups from a 400GB drive to it, and when that is done, 
ubuntu-8.04 LTS gets installed on the 400GB drive.  This box is the last of 4 
here, the rest all run ubuntu in one flavor or another.  And they Just 
Work(TM)
