There are lots of 'stable' distributions available and perhaps your
expectations would be better met by one of them instead.

The notion of release early and often was the point of keeping fast
paced development and yes, sometimes various package releases are
premature and I sort of thought that was what the intent of a 'leading
edge' distribution.
