Suddenly I can't play audio CDs in F11.

I don't thinl it is a udev problem. You always get errors when it
tries to read an audio CD. Also, the CD is accessable - there just
isn't an icon. I can still play CDs. If I start a CD player, it can
see and access the CD in the drive.
