well thanks a lot for that kevin. you just broke my xsane installation.
not really. just joking. you did not do it but something did.
2 weeks ago i was using gimp to scan with and now when i tried using
'gimp' or 'xsane-gimp', i get an 'i/o' error and no scanning.
i checked log directory with 'grep' only shows errors related to
installation from 2 months ago.
so, looks like i am off to search for what has happened. better now than
later when i need scanner. :)
