Trying to install F11 x86_64 on ext3

I am trying out the ways to install Fedora 11 on ext3. I know the LiveCD
will not let me do it because it is simply a compressed image of a
pre-installed system and then must be copied upon an ext4 partition.

I ran through the forums and found that installing from a DVD will let
me have the new Fedora on ext3. I downloaded the image, burned it,
double-checked it with

$ sha256sum /dev/dvd

I boot with the DVD and start the installation; at the moment when it
starts detecting the hard drives (I have 2 SATA pcs.), Anaconda shows an
error. I can't save what it reports because I can not switch focus to
the window (does not response being covered by the small one saying
"searching for the hard drives"). :) Tried clicking and Alt+Tabbing,
there is no way. :)

I have searched the project wiki for errata. There doesn't seem anything
similar listed.

I would like to get this working. Please, give me a hint where to look
for further instructions. (Yes, I could try the upgrade feature, but I
would like a fresh install.) :)

Thanks
