ext4 for '/' was not allowed in fedora-11

That was something I found weird... on an Ubuntu (Jaunty) machine:

rms at roque:/opt/openmoko/fso-unstable$ mount | grep ext
/dev/mapper/VG01-root on / type ext4 (rw,relatime,errors=remount-ro)
/dev/sda5 on /boot type ext4 (rw,relatime)
/dev/mapper/VG01-encrypted_home_crypt on /home type ext4 (rw,relatime)
/dev/mapper/VG01-downloads on /opt/downloads type ext4 (rw,relatime)
rms at roque:/opt/openmoko/fso-unstable$ grub --version
grub (GNU GRUB 0.97)

On the F11 machine:
[rms at nietzche ~]$ rpm -q grub
grub-0.97-50.fc11.i586


So... ?
