still fighting to configure my samsung multifunction SCX-4826FN

  i had this (multifunction) printer working just fine under f10, now
... nothing.  the latest site i stumbled across is this one:

http://www.opendrivers.com/downloaddriverurls.php

but i don't have time to test that unified linux driver right this
second.  has anyone else configured this (or an adequately similar)
printer under f11?  help.
