Suns StarOffice will not work

Star Office?  Or OpenOffice?  (They are similar but related -- StarOffice is a
commercial program that you pay Sun for..)

If you're talking about OpenOffice, then you might find it simplest to just use
the Fedora-built openoffice rpm files instead.
