system-config-printer can't find my remote printer ??

ok. i just read back where you said you do, but did note you were asked
if you had iptables set to allow printing.

you replied you were in permissive mode. permissive mode is selinux,
not firewall. you need to be sure you have iptables set to allow printing
connections passing thru.
