VPN server in Fedora

Itamar,
First, thanks for your (really rapid) response.
I know about openvpn project.
The question is why there are no rpms of pptpd in recent
fedora releases (like 9,10,11)? is it because that the openvpn
solution is better than the pptpd solution?
