How to compute sha256sum

Use either the rawread script at

http://www.troubleshooters.com/linux/coasterless.htm#rawread

or the isograb script from

http://www.city-fan.org/tips/IsoImageFromMedia

which each check the ISO header to see how long the actual ISO is.  (The
first script checks before extracting, and reads off exactly that much,
the second extracts first, then truncates.)  The rawread script allows
you to pipe the output into sha256sum to check a disc's hash without
having to dump the ISO to the HDD.
