Anaconda loses ~100 GByte of disk when installing Fedora 12, was "Part of hard disk disappeared..."

so your disk really is 250GB in size. Which logical, since I have never
seen 350GB disks, only 300GB and 320GB...


(If you want more proof, run
 # hdparm -I /dev/sda
which gives you the info on the drive, for example
