firefox 3.5.4 broken?

Well I can reproduce the segfaults semi-deterministically:

Firefox-3.5.4 either immediately dies, or dies after a little bit of 
browsing.

I am observing
* corrupt indices and "random email tagging".
* "compact folders" not wanting to traverse deep imap folders.
* filtering issues
