Very easy to do. I've got an interface that is just a 'tap' interface
tap0 inet addr:192.168.89.1 that I want the dhcpd to listen on.
So my /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf is :
ddns-update-style interim;
ignore client-updates;
local-address 192.168.89.1;
subnet 192.168.89.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 {
# --- default gateway
option routers 192.168.89.1;
option subnet-mask 255.255.255.0;
option nis-domain "localdomain";
option domain-name "localdomain";
option domain-name-servers 192.168.89.1, 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220;
option time-offset -18000; # Eastern Standard Time
range dynamic-bootp 192.168.89.128 192.168.89.254;
default-lease-time 21600;
max-lease-time 43200;
}
