Flogging a dead horse Rex. This solution has been mentioned before. I am
the OP and I know about it. It's not an answer to the question, which is
"how do I do this in KDE?". The answer to that question is "you can't",
which is why I reported it to BZ.

Let's just allow this exhausted thread to die a natural death.
