Fedora 11 , 12 has a DNS problem, and it happens on some installs and 
then not others.
I have installed FC11 i386, X86_64 , on 9 different boxes and had 
problems with DNS.
Attached is the way I solved my problems.
I also filed a Bug #522588 report on this.
