I think my previous mail got all the details you need apart from the
fact that other AT's can be started as well. Also worth checking out

 /etc/gdm/modules/AccessDwellMouseEvents
 /etc/gdm/modules/AccessKeyMouseEvents

for how that works (e.g. ctrl+M brings up the magnifier). If you have
