[Fedora-livecd-list] No space left on device during image creation

I'm getting this error on my spins for x86_64 KDE live images (not
for the i686 ones). Which device is meant here? On my local harddisks
should be enough free space.
Could this explain why the x86_64 images are ~40 megs bigger than the
i686 ones?
