Hi!
First of all:
Might be a silly question, but I'd like to see what the _best_ or the
Fedora-like solution in this case is...
I have the following problem. Current verel I have is 0.84rc2-1, new verel
is
0.84-1. But trying to install the new rpms with rpm -Fvh fails (or better
said:
rpm does nothing), because RPM thinks 0.84rc2-1 is newer than 0.84-1. What
is
the best solution to make the 0.84-1 the newer version? I could use epoch
for
this, but I don't think that this is the best solution, is it!?
Any ideas/solutions are welcome!
Best,
Oliver
