update slang to 2.0?

Any objections to updating slang to version 2.0 in rawhide/FC5? I
can do the initial legwork.
It includes native unicode support, as opposed to relying on the
hacked-to-death UTF-8 slang patch we have now.
It would require rebuilds of the following:
In Core:
newt
slrn
crypto-utils
timidity++
system-config-securitylevel
mc
In Extras:
caca
aalib
most
jed
Plus, we'd probably move compat-slang to providing the unicode hack one,
as opposed to the pre-RHL8 version it has now.
