dist-hg proof-of-concept ready for use

Is it completely insane to consider multiple distributed version control 
systems -- choosing the systems that most closely correspond to their 
upstream projects?

I mean, if we're going to be writing dist-hg, dist-git, and dist-bzr 
anyway... :)
