That would be fine by me.  Does anyone want the email to be delivered to
 the commits list?  It's currently recorded in the database (but no
interface for viewing the log yet) and sent to owner + watchers.

Note that you will still get a fair amount of email when something
happens to a branch you are watching/own until #3 and #1 are
implemented.  But you won't be getting it via commits-list as well.
