We can try that if you like. Though, for Audacity (and the big wxWidgets)
an even larger team would be beneficial.

Anyway, I've submitted compat-wxGTK26 for review, because Audacity builds
with it and doesn't lock up and because a recent snapshot of Audacity
introduces new problems wrt audio I/O and project freq.
