I realize that I had really only intended to say that problems between
FC3 and FC4 should be trimmed; it's still quite possible to fix
problems where, say, FC3 > FC5 by updating FC5.  But for core packages
I think it's pretty obvious now that FC5 updates to fix these problems
aren't going to happen anyway.
