debuginfo dependancy problems

I should probably have phrased the question differently. In the past I'd 
simply patch the file to remove an errant dependency, for example 
perl(win32)... but that wouldn't work in this case anyway I've dug up 
something on the wiki which was exactly what I was looking for. :-)
