Looking for a review of 'sundials' library

What's the fedora_version, mandriva_version, suse_version and xubuntu
stuff about?  Even if such stuff was acceptable, nothing seems to set
%{fedora_version}.  This makes the package fail to even start building
for me due to missing dependencies.
