How to remove wrong tag in CVS?

Hi,


I tried to update my package and due to old common directory make tagged
by devel directory with isomaster-1_0-1_fc7. Later I updated it and the
right tag was made, but I have obvious problem with F-7 branch.
I tried to remove wrong tag, but without success:

[szpak at szpak devel]$ cvs tag -d isomaster-1_0-1_fc7
ERROR: Tag removal not allowed for tag isomaster-1_0-1_fc7
cvs tag: Pre-tag check failed
cvs [tag aborted]: correct the above errors first!


Is it possible to remove that tag?
Or I have to bump release number to be able to make F-7 tag?
