Well, what update? A warning at the top that "mschwendt no longer
is subscribed to the page"? ;o) That would be strange. It's a Wiki.
Anyone [in EditGroup] can touch the page and update it if things are
out-of-date. And handling orphans and related cleanup [1] is something
somebody else might have wanted to do.

In retrospect, I should have deleted the page. There have never
been official policies on orphaned packages, because it's a topic
that hasn't seen buy-in from [Extras'] FESCo.

[1] Editing owners.list when packagers announced orphans without
updating owners.list. Announcing discovered orphans which have
gone unnoticed for various reasons. Reassigning and replying to
tickets filed about orphans. Marking orphans dead.package prior to
next branch of devel. Deleting long-time orphans from the
repositories.
