Interesting perspective indeed... I have to say that I recently used
OS X Tiger (last version I used was Panther) and I must agree with the
overall "rigidity" of it. Still I also agree about some of the
statements about how OS X feels "superior" to Fedora (not that it
really is superior, rather it has more planning and is a homogeneous
base, compared to the Linux distros ground), and like a friend of mine
some time told me: "It's all about the applications, stupid". That is
oh, so true. Mac OS X with Free and native applications is delicious
to use, but then again, so is my Fedora box... At a fraction of the
TCO of a Macintosh.
