Does Fedora 8 deserve intellectual welfare

Point taken, but frankly, "old grannies" are not supposed to need to
install an operating system. Most people never will. I've installed
Fedora and CentOS for a couple of people that are now happily using it,
but it would have scared the hell out of them if they had to *install
and configure* the OS by themselves, even if it turned out to be not
that hard after the fact. Also, adding some repositories and w32/dvd
codecs and the like was just not something they were going to do.
