I think I see the problem. I think martin has misinterpreted the theft
deterrence protocol.

In check_stolen_hash(), please modify strings to be:
    strings = ( uuid + ':' + nonce + ':STOLEN' )
i.e. remove the first entry, which actually indicates non-stolen.
