Hi Scott,

It does work when booting from SD or USB, and I'm not sure why it
doesn't work booting from NAND. Does anyone have an idea?

This is also puzzling -- it's because the XO has its own pretty boot,
and Fedora doesn't know how to use it. You can turn it off by booting
with the "check" game key held down when you power on. There should be
a way to turn it off in the olpc.fth file ("unfreeze"), but it doesn't
seem to be working, just like the plymouth pretty boot, even though the
olpc.fth files we write to NAND and disk seem equivalent.

I'll ask our firmware people if they can help us work out why one's
working and not the other.

Thanks,

- Chris.
