Could you also change the font size from 10 to 7 on "style.py" till a better solution can be found.

Also adjust the firefox layout.css.dpi to "96" from "-1".

Also change the GNOME appearance to something standard (crearlooks?). The bigger pointer of the custom theme is nice but somehow this custom theme blacks out the default buttons is many dialogs both in GNOME and Sugar

Finally in GNOME power management set set the lid to do nothing (conflicts with powerd). Ideally the option should not be locked out till a solution can be found.

Just little annoyances that give a more polished look to the build :-)
