Description :
Elfutils is a collection of utilities, including ld (a linker),
nm (for listing symbols from object files), size (for listing the
section sizes of an object or archive file), strip (for discarding
symbols), readelf (to see the raw ELF file structures), and elflint
(to check for well-formed ELF files).

Update Information:

This update fixes a variety of minor problems.
Note that this update adds two new packages,
elfutils-devel-static and elfutils-libelf-devel-static,
containing static archives (.a) that were previously in
elfutils-devel and elfutils-libelf-devel respectively.
The new -static packages are required by -devel packages, so
upgrades should not leave any files missing.  Packages using
libelf.a or libdw.a for static linking should update their
BuildRequires to include elfutils-devel-static.
