Description :
X-Chat is an easy to use graphical IRC chat client for the X Window System.
It allows you to join multiple IRC channels (chat rooms) at the same time,
talk publicly, private one-on-one conversations etc. Even file transfers
are possible.

This includes the plugins to run the Perl and Python scripts.

Update Information:

This updates XChat to the latest upstream release (2.8.4).

This release contains several bugfixes and a few minor feature
additions, see http://www.xchat.org/changelog.txt for the list
of fixed bugs and added features.

An additional bugfix from upstream to fix creation of
~/.xchat2/scrollback/ paths has also been applied.

In addition, XChat is now built against the system copy of
libsexy rather than its own copy of the sexy-spell-widget.
