GNOME Commander is a nice and fast file manager for the GNOME desktop.
In addition to performing the basic filemanager functions the program is
also an FTP-client and it can browse SMB-networks.

Update Information:

A bug is reported that the item "MIME Types" in gnome-commander does  not do
anything. Actually "MIME Types" tries to call gnome-file-types-properties,
however this binary was removed from GNOME 2.8+.    This new rpms provide a
minimal "replacement" for gnome-file-types-properties  to make "MIME Types" item
work again.
