Description :
Music Applet is a small, simple GNOME panel applet that lets you control a
variety of different music players from the panel. Music Applet provides easy
access to information about the current song and the most important playback
controls.

Music Applet is the successor to the Rhythmbox Applet and currently supports
the following music players:

Update Information:

Music Applet 2.5.1 contains fixes for the applet hanging after the player has
already closed and invalid album-art display in Rhythmbox "popup" notifications.
Music Applet 2.5.0 adds support for Amarok 2, fixes uncontrolled growth in
applet with long metadata strings (Fedora bug #452420), improves loading of
album art from Rhythmbox, contains fixes for the rating scale change in Exaile
0.2.14 (from 8-star to 5-star), fixes improper entity encodings of song titles
in notification popups, and replaces the deprecated mpdclient2 library with
python-mpd in the MPD plugin.
