Etherboot is a software package for creating ROM images that can
download code over an Ethernet network to be executed on an x86
computer. Many network adapters have a socket where a ROM chip can be
installed. Etherboot is code that can be put in such a ROM

Update Information:

This update fixes PXE failure due to bogus packets sent by the e1000 NIC.
Also, this update enables the PXE_DHCP_STRICT compile-time option as it is
reported to fix PXE booting for some users and disables the ASK_BOOT option as
it was was causing an unnecessary 3 second delay.

su -c 'yum update etherboot' at the command line.
