Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2009-5106
2009-05-19 00:06:36
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : mod_fcgid
Product : Fedora 11
Version : 2.2
Release : 11.fc11
URL : http://fastcgi.coremail.cn/
Summary : Apache2 module for high-performance server-side scripting
Description :
mod_fcgid is a binary-compatible alternative to the Apache module mod_fastcgi.
mod_fcgid has a new process management strategy, which concentrates on reducing
the number of fastcgi servers, and kicking out corrupt fastcgi servers as soon
as possible.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update moves the module's "run" directory from /var/run to /var/run/httpd,
to resync with httpd which has also moved its "run" directory since Fedora 10.
Using the wrong directory caused httpd to fail to start after mod_fcgid had been
installed.
