Description :
ORBit is a high-performance CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture)
ORB (object request broker). It allows programs to send requests and receive
replies from other programs, regardless of the locations of the two programs.
CORBA is an architecture that enables communication between program objects,
regardless of the programming language they are written in or the operating
system they run on.

This package is provided for compatibility with GNOME-1 applications.

Update Information:

This is a cumulative bugfix and clean-up update for the legacy Gnome-1
libraries.    For end users, library linkage is improved (libraries are linked
against the libraries they need and only those libraries), resulting in less
bloat and less work for the run-time linker to do when applications using these
libraries are used. Documentation is all now encoded as UTF-8.    For
developers, inter-package dependencies are fixed to pull in all of the necessary
requirements, and ensure that these still work in a multilib environment with
some 32- and 64-bit development packages present. Fedora packagers can safely
assume that %{_isa} provides are available for all libraries in the stack, in
all releases where %{_isa} is defined.
