We might want to ship the kernel modules in a separate package, yes. I believe
the mqueue branch of mISDN, which is what chan_misdn should now be using, solves
all the above-mentioned problems with locking and compilers. That's an issue for
the kernel-modules package though; the userspace bit is fine.
