Summary: Review Request: compat-glibc - stubs and headers for
RHEL4 compatibility
Product: Fedora Core
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: normal
Component: Package Review
AssignedTo: jkeating at redhat.com
ReportedBy: jakub at redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa at fedoraproject.org
CC: fedora-package-review at redhat.com,notting at redhat.com
Spec URL: http://devserv/~jakub/compat/compat-glibc.spec
SRPM URL: http://devserv/~jakub/compat/compat-glibc-2.3.4-2.26.src.rpm
Description: Similar to RHEL4 compat-glibc, contains all the needed stub
shared libraries (for ld(1) only, not runtime) and headers so that it is
possible to compile and link (a limited number) of programs that will then
work on RHEL4.
Especially useful because of the ppc*/s390* ABI changes for long double.
