Isn't it just one line in each makefile, though?  I don't think it's a blocker,
but it's probably easier to change it now than to wait until later when you'd
have to coordinate releases of all three packages.

Surely not for an example.  If you want to be complete, you can add a note in
that directory indicating that the -gl package needs to be installed in order
for them to work.

I'll be working on gauche-gl soon in any case.
