Usually finding these redundant (Build)Requires needs some work.
One of the effective way to find these is
* Build srpm by mockbuild
* chroot to the top directory of mockbuild
* For each package listed in (Build)Requires, try:
  'rpm -q --whatrequires <package>'
  or 'rpm -e --test <package>'
Note that some rpm packages have chicken‐and‐egg dependencies.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW, I have not yet checked your new package,

however, will you do a "pre-review" of some package listed in:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/showdependencytree.cgi?id=FE-NEW&hide_resolved=1
and tell me what bug you (pre-)reviewed so that I can
judge if I can sponsor you ?

* What you should check through (pre-)review process are
  generally listed in:
  http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/ReviewGuidelines
  http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging/Guidelines .
* You can also comment about issues which you noticed on the package
you (pre)reviewed but which is not listed on the URL above (this
  criterion is somewhat ambiguous).
If you have any questions, please notice to me.
