Um, one quick solution is to install wrapper script as /usr/bin/projectControl
which contains like:

#!/bin/bash

xterm -e /bin/bash -c 'if [ -z "$BOUML_ID" ] ; then echo "Input BOUML_ID" ; read
BOUML_ID ; export BOUML_ID ; fi ; exec /usr/lib/bouml/projectControl'
